I recommend making this a sticky that would be used to track who is translating what.

Excellent idea! Done!

I am planning on putting up all of the Token Translations. I am utilizing previous translations, if any, and giving credit for those that did the initial translations!

Included in the Token Translations are:
• All formatted the same way.
• Including what type of Token it was debuted as. I.E. Token of the Month, JPC, JPC Battle of the Web, Special, etc. with the corresponding dates.
• The larger images used in the PDFs as well as both sides of the Token.
• The French and English versions for those like Scottie that are fluent in both so that they not need open separate documents to find corrections needed.
• Links to the initial announcements on tannhauser-thegame.com
• Link to the PDF on tannhauser-thegame.com
• Credit where credit is due!

>>> I have currently finished the 2008 Tokens and will eventually have all of the Tokens released up with their own thread, including those with official translations from FFG. Which, I hope, will negate the multiple thread on the same subject scenario.

UPDATE: All Current Tokens Completed!

Excellent stuff.  Here's hoping we avoid the multiple thread scenario like you said.  I presume you use online translators, btw?

Yeah, well.  Like I said: being raised in a bilingual household has its advantages lol.  I can just read in one language and type out in the other.  Helps for fast translations.

Oh, yeah (See PM sent). As I stated in the PM ... I took French in High School some 20 years ago and all I really remember is Où est la bibliothèque?, so that I might find a French/English translation book!
cool

I would like to see some of the official scenarios translated that we may never see in that official looking PDF style they have. Or if we do see it they will screw it up... some how.

If I can get the correct translated text, I easily can make them look like the real deal ...

Please remember folks, the FFG scenarios have a LOT of errors (I notified them with no response).

Synopsis:

LO.ST

Under Necessary Materials it should read:

Necessary Materials:
Tannhauser Boardgame (Crypt Side)
2 tokens Yperite 450 (placed on each Primary Objective)
Poison gas tokens (X 8)
4 formula (not flask) tokens (placed on the Secondary Objectives, question mark side up - two are the actual formula, two are blank or "dummies")
2 crate (not formula) tokens (placed on the 2 Action Circles)

SMOKE ON THE WATER

Strangely the folllowing has been omitted:

Special Rules

It is impossible to cross a crate. When a character spends an Action to search a crate, all the adjacent crates are searched as well. When a crate is searched (and that token is turned over) the circle may be freely crossed.
(Up to 2 crates would be adjacent, maximum, meaning the crate(s) next to the one you just searched.)

Under "Set-Up" it should read as follows:

Mix the equipment tokens up and place 5 face down on the map as shown.
Mix the Victory Point tokens and place 2 (not 5) face down on each Action Circle.

Under Game Mode, it erroneously states "Story Mode" when you actually use no objective tokens.

Additional clarifications:

• Up to 2 crates would be adjacent, maximum, meaning the crate(s) next to the one you just searched.

• The scenario again erroneously states you must start the crates on fire. This is completely wrong. You must start the fire at any Objective circle, not any crate. This is clearly stated in the original french document.

Luckily, I never actually bothered reading their versions.  I've always played with the MY translations of the French docs.

Anyways, here is my translation for CHAIN OF FOOLS (just updated it to reflect the V3 they have up, which takes into consideration Legendary characters).

http://www.mediafire.com/file/2rnjzzztz2j/CHAIN OF FOOLS V3.doc

Mal, since you seem to want to put these into the official template for scenarios, feel free to take my original stuff and make them look official too if you get a chance.  Keep in mind that the way I formatted my custom template doesn't necessarily follow TOY's template... such as where to put the FACTIONS used for the scenario, or the DIFFICULTY, BRIEFING, etc...  I'd double check the french ones to compare.  I'll follow TOY's template from now on though.

Oh, and Sundance: thanks for the Mod position.  I'll try and keep track of the translations and update the main thread on a regular basis.
